Overview

This project was an initiative to address critical business and user experience challenges in in the renewables and energy grid site selection process including a fragmented and inefficient workflow.

Outcome

A guided experience through a comprehensive unified search with summarized and prioritized results that is customizable to company strategy.

  • With many technical options, users are unsure where to begin

  • Fragmented data requires multiple steps and manual alignment

  • Land developers lack relevant contextual information for quick decision making

Pain points

  • Ideation workshops with design and product

  • Survey and card sort exercises with go-to-market teams

  • Benchmarking existing user flow

Evaluative

  • Early wireframe sketch critiques

  • Initial mock-up flow feedback

  • Prototype, interactive user concept testing, comparative evaluation

Methods: stakeholder workshops, user interviews, concept testing, usability testing, card sorting, and click study analysis
