Hi, I’m Meredith, a curious, mission-driven product designer with 15 years of problem solving in complex and regulated domains.

I began my career testing airplanes and recently have been focused on crafting scalable user experience solutions that support a sustainable future.

A former engineer, I became intrigued with making products that improve the lives of the people using them. Aerospace brought me to Seattle, where I fell in love with the mountains. When I began making personalized outdoor gear, I enrolled in a User-Centered Design course to learn more, and then decided pursue the HCDE master's program at UW.

My approach to Product Design is inspired by extensive experience in test design and data analysis, academic and professional projects selecting and conducting appropriate research methodologies, and designing layout and interaction of software products. I enjoy working with interdisciplinary teams of developers and product managers to create the best possible result for the users.

I have a passion for the outdoors and travel and making those experiences accessible to others. Downtime ideation is sparked when I’m in the mountains hiking, skiing or rock-climbing, working in my garden, being creative in the kitchen, or traveling the world.

A big thank you and credit to the designers of the device mockups used in this portfolio.

All engineered products interact with people;
including humans from the start of the design process
is critical to making quality products users can love.
